To obtain the single permit, the following documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the expiration of the residence right granted by the visa:

Contract signed by both parties

Study Residence Permit
Do you want to study in Romania and have citizenship of a country outside the European Union and the European Economic Area?
To begin, you must enroll at the educational institution where you want to study and be accepted by it.
Family Reunification Permit
After entering Romania with a family reunification visa (symbol D/VF) you must obtain a residence permit for family reunification purposes.
You can obtain this permit from the territorial formations of the General Inspectorate for Immigration in the county where you live.
To obtain the residence permit you will personally submit a series of documents at least 30 days before the expiration of the residence right granted by the visa.
The following categories can apply for family reunification visa:
- Foreigners married to Romanian citizens
- Unmarried foreigners living with unmarried Romanian citizens, if they have at least one child together (partners)
- Children of the Romanian citizen, spouse or partner, including adopted ones, who have not reached 21 years of age
- Children who are continuing their studies and have not exceeded 26 years of age
- Adult children who cannot support themselves for medical reasons
- First-degree relatives in ascending line of the Romanian citizen or their spouse
- Foreign parent of a minor Romanian citizen, if they prove that the minor is in their care
- Foreigners, family members of Romanian citizens, who prove they are registered with residence rights in another member state
Residence Permit for Volunteer Activities
As volunteers in Romania you must have a volunteer contract with a legal entity of public or private law without profit (host organization).
The contract will include mentions regarding the activity you will carry out, the conditions under which you are monitored in fulfilling tasks, working hours, and necessary professional training.
The host entity ensures accommodation, means of subsistence and medical insurance for the entire period of visa validity.
Residence Permit - Administrator
If you are an administrator of a commercial company you must prove that you cumulatively meet the following conditions:
- You have the capacity of company administrator
- At the time of application you are not a partner or shareholder in the commercial company in question or in another Romanian legal entity and have not had these capacities in the last 2 years
- At that company there is no other foreigner who has obtained a residence right for this purpose
- The commercial company has made a capital contribution or technology transfer of at least 50,000 euros
